scRNAseq of corneal epithelium in dry eye disease

We performed single cell transcriptional profiling of mouse corneal epithelium in a mouse model of dry eye disease. We prepared cell suspensions of corneal epithelium: one from control and one from dry eye disease (n = 7 male C57BL/6J mice, 10 weeks old). We excised the right lacrimal glands (both extra- and intra-orbital) following previously described protocols (Shinomiya et al., 2018). We sacrificed mice 9 days after lacrimal gland excision. Left control eyes were pooled (n = 7 eyes), and right dry eyes were pooled (n = 6, one was excluded due to injury during surgery).
