As one of the most economically important tropical fruit plants, the lack of mango genome sequence restricts genome-based selection breeding and makes it difficult to explore genetic and evolutionary mechanisms underlying distinct mango traits. This project is dedicated to sequence and assemble the genome of mango tree, which is critical for related reseachers to discover and improve the quality of mango fruits.
