This data set provides information on the effect of osmotic and salinity stress on the transcriptome of sea barley.RNAseq was performed on shoots and roots from seedlings of wild Hordeum marinum spp. marinum.All the plant material was grown in standardized conditions of 20 °C, 12 hours of light with light intensity 350 mmol m-2 s-1.Every combination of tissue and treatment included three biological replicates.The triplicated samples included in this data set are:1. Roots control (3 replicates splitted in two sequencing lanes)2. Shoots control (3 replicates splitted in two sequencing lanes)3. Roots osmotic stress (3 replicates splitted in two sequencing lanes)4. Shoots osmotic stress (3 replicates splitted in two sequencing lanes)5. Roots salinity stress (3 replicates splitted in two sequencing lanes)6. Shoots salinity stress (3 replicates splitted in two sequencing lanes)The sequences of this data set were produced with an Illumina HiSeq2500 that outputted read pairs of 171 base pairs.
