We investigated the immunometabolic reprogramming in SFA-treated human macrophages. As expected, RNA sequencing highlighted a pro-inflammatory profile but also metabolic signatures including glycolysis and hypoxia as well as a strong unfolded protein response. We then performed comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for human monocyte-derived macrophages(MDMs) treated with BSA (Bovin serum albumin, vehicle) and MDMs treated with a saturated fatty acid (C18:0, 100 µM) for 16h. Three replicates are included.
