Mechanism of RSV ON1 fusion glycoprotein for resistance to lonafarnib

We identify RSV resistance to lonafarnib by in vitro passaging of RSV ON1 strain. The resistant viruses with mutations emerge from the cysteine-rich region of fusion protein and confer RSV resistance to lonafarnib.
