Brazil: steel products output volume 2015-2020

The steel industry in Brazil experienced a continual increase in the output of finished and semi-finished products between 2016 and 2018, surpassing 37 million metric tons in the latter year. In contrast, production decreased by eight percent in 2020, when compared to the previous year. Flat-rolled products represented more than 42 percent of the industry's output in Brazil that year.
