Streambed and suspended sediment data from streams in western Montana from 2018

This data release contains streambed sediment data, suspended sediment data, and stream stage data from tributary streams in Western Montana. These datasets were created to assess the linkages between unpaved roads and instream sediment distributions. Surveys were collected in tributaries and rivers within the Clearwater River and Swan River basins in Montana. Site locations were purposively selected for sampling and the datasets were collected in 2018 using standard sediment sampling procedures. Data were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and Montana State University and/or affiliated field crews with support from the U.S. Geological Survey and Montana State University.
