Facilities

The Facilities layer combines a number of previous layers. Some were used to create the Health Services Agency (HSA) emergency preparedness maps on file in the Emergency Operations Center map bin. Some were used for the post-earthquake 'Critical Facility' building inspection survey for code enforcement. To avoid duplicates and having overlap, these layers were combined into a single layer, with the "CRITICAL" field added so that a definition query can be applied to filter for the Critical Facilities survey and other mapping products. There is also a separate 'County Facilities' GIS layer that is managed and utilized by the Real Property division of the Public Works department. For the Parks Department, there is a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online for park facilities that is used specifically for the Park Finder application that is embedded in the Park departments website.
