资源简介:
Three grids were live-trapped for small mammals beginning in January 2003. Grids were trapped for 2-3 nights at least every 3-5 weeks throughout the year. Data collection is ongoing. For each animal captured, data recorded included trap location, ear tag number, species, sex, reproductive condition, and body mass. The primary purpose of the study was to monitor the population dynamics of brush mice (Peromyscus boylii) in oak woodland and chamise chaparral habitat types. Other species captured included deer mice (P. maniculatus), western harvest mice (Reithrodontomys megalotis), and California voles (Microtus californicus).
