资源简介:
This repository contains MATLAB code and accompanying data for the project: “The functional morphology of hawkmoth lamina monopolar cells reveals mechanisms of spatial processing in insect motion vision.” Data Structure This repository is structured in 'temporal' and 'spatial' data. TemporalData: the folders 'ImpulseOFF', 'ImpulseON', 'LongImpulseOFF', 'LongImpulseON' contain the raw data, organised by date, number of cell and then individual recordings. 'TemporalAnalysis.m' is the main analysis skript, running this will process the raw data and produce the fit for the data. In order to run, the skript requires additional functions, stored in the same folder:'ImpulseResponse.m', 'LongImpulseResponse.m', 'shadedErrorBar.m', 'weber_contrast.m' - resulting from this skript we can generate 'off.mat', 'on.mat', 'off2Step.mat'', 'on2Step.mat', which contain the information about the parameters used for fitting the data. 'TemporalAnalysis_Quantification.m' extracts the temporal dynamics of the cell responses and calculates time to peak. 'ClusterAnalysis_*.m' calculates PCa and clusters the cell responses SpatialData 'CatmaidAnalysis.m' - analsis and plots the different process lengths of L1 and L2 in a cartridge, using the excel sheet 'skeleton_coordinated.csv'. This data is extracted from Catmaid and then here analysed based on the process length 'receptiveField.m', uses the data stored in 'dataAll.mat' as well as 'dataAll_ND0.mat'. Those datasets contain raw traces of neurons as well as those parameters used for fitting the receptive fields. The skript produces the receptive field plots and analyses the data. Spatial Model Code This folder contains receptive field data of LMCs 'allRFs_all.mat' and Photoreceptors 'allRFs_PR.mat', as well as the coordinate of the synapses of L1 and L2 the skript 'LMCsynapseModel.m' predicts the layer-based mechanisms based on the synapse distribution and the receptive fields of the neurons.
