Level of Living Study for Single Parents, 1991

In 1991, Statistics Norway conducted a study of living conditions among single parents, as well as a selection for the annual survey of living conditions. The purpose was to investigate the living conditions of this parent group relative to other groups in society, as it was a relevant political issue. Questionnaire largely follow questionnaire Living Survey 1991, but there are also some issues that are specific to this study. The form is a thorough survey of the actual situation of the person in the period January 1975 - December 1991. There are surveyed each month whether the respondent was a single parent, working, working hours, type of social performance and social type respondent possibly received. These last two variable types are "multiple response", it is possible to be the recipient of more than one performance. Total generates a tremendous variable-list, 17 years x 12 months x 16 = variable over 3,000 variables.
