Authors and Rebloggers from Mastodon

About authors.csv and rebloggers.csv These two datasets were generated using the official Mastodon rest API. For authors were used the trending_statuses endpoint and, for rebloggers were used the reblogged_by endpoint. An author is a user who publishes a new toot whereas a reblogger is a user who reblogs a toot. Using these two files you can generate a Mastodon's reblog graph. These files are part of my Master thesis, I created a directed weighted graph where each node is a mastodon server and each weight is the total of reblogs all users in that server have made on other servers. Feel free to visit the Github repository .Using these files you can create the graph that I mentioned, just following the repo instructions. About trend_authors.tar.gz This is a compressed file with all the authors who published trending toots. Data was fetched every 30 minutes from November 5th, 2025 to December 5th, 2025. That's the raw data used to create the authors.csv file and, it is published here for completeness reasons.
