DWD GeoServer WFS – 10-minute station measurements of atmospheric counter-radiation in J/cm² – OGC API Features

This is the Web Feature Server of DWD.:This data comes from the stations of the DWD (partner networks not included). Extensive station metadata (station shifts, instrument change, change of reference time, changes in algorithms) are included in the download via the CDC portal. The measurements are assigned to a timestamp that marks the end of the 10-min interval. As of 1.1.2000, the timestamp is indicated in UTC, for the period before in MEZ.The global radiation comprises the direct and diffuse portion of solar radiation relative to the horizontal surface. Sometimes “global radiation” is also associated with the term “short-wave”, meaning up to 2.8 micrometers, because in this context, “short-wave” refers to the solar spectrum, in contrast to “long-wave” as a designation of the spectrum of thermal radiation of the atmosphere.
