资源简介:
Intestinal microbiota and metabolites play an important role in host health, with alterations of intestinal microbiota and metabolites associated with the digestive disorders in calves, particularly neonatal calf diarrhea. Bovine rotavirus (BRV) and bovine coronavirus (BCoV) are the major pathogens causing neonatal calf diarrhea. However, there is a limited amount of information regarding the effects of BRV and BCoV infection on the microbiota and metabolites in neonatal calves intestines. In this study, the alterations of fecal microbiota and metabolites in neonatal diarrheal calves associated with BRV and BCoV infection were investigated using high-throughput sequencing of the 16S rRNA V3-V4 hypervariable region and Metabolomics analysis, respectively.
