Response of Photosynthetic Fluorescence Parameters of Chlorella Pyrenoidosa to Cu2+ Toxicity

Photosynthetic fluorescence parameters of algae were used as toxicity evaluation indexes to study the response law of multiple photosynthetic fluorescence parameters under Cu2+ toxicity, in this paper. The results showed: (1) the inhibition effect of F0, Fm, Fv, Fv/Fm, Yield, rP, JVPⅡ, α and Ek under Cu2+ toxicity were significant. And yield, rP, α and Fv/Fm could be used as the evaluation indexes for Cu2+ toxicity analysis at 24h; (2)the inhibitory effect of Yield, rP,α and Fv/Fm had a good dose-effect relationship with Cu2+toxicity.The results showed that the fitting correlation coefficients R2 were 0.9989, 0.9992, 0.9991 and 0.9977, and the resulting EC50-24h were 61.05μmol/L、66.31μmol/L、69.41μmol/L、99.61μmol/L respectively. The results showed that the parameters Yield, rP and α were better than the conventional parameter Fv/Fm, and the EC50-24h values decreased by 38.7%, 33.45 and 30.3%, respectively. The experimental results could provide reference for the detection of biological toxicity based on photosynthetic inhibition effect of algae.
