In order to evaluate the differential expression of miRNAs by T cells from mice with autoimmune-inflammatory versus ischemic cardiomyopathy, we isolated CD4+ T cells from draining-lymph nodes (dLNs) of acute EAM and LAD mice, 3 and 6 days after the onset of disease. Out of 1881 miRNAs described by the array, 704 were detected as differentially expressed (with Benjamini-Hochberg adjusted p-value < 0.1). 367 were upregulated in CD4EAM relative to CD4LAD, and 337 were detected as downregulated. CD4+ T cells were isolated from draining-lymph nodes (dLNs) of acute EAM (n=4) and LAD mice (n=3), 3 and 6 days after induction, respectively.
