Approximately 30 grams of polyethylene (PE) or polystyrene (PS) MPs with ≦ 75 μm diameter were sealed in a plastic bag with ≦ 30 μm apertures. In this study, Shidou reservoir (N 24o 42’ 35’’, E 118o 0’ 14’’,) and Xinglin bay (N 24o 35’44’’, E 118o 5’ 34’’) were selected due to their presence in the same watershed with different urbanization in Xiamen, Fujian province of China. Each microplastic with triplicates was immersed in the water of Shidou reservoir and Xinglin bay, respectively. After 30 days, the MPs and their corresponding water were collected and used for microbial genomic DNA extraction in November 2020.We amplified bacterial 16S rRNA genes using the primer set of 338F/806R to characterize the community of bacteria in water and plastisphere. 

大约30克直径不超过75微米的聚乙烯(PE)或聚苯乙烯(PS)微塑料颗粒被密封于孔径不超过30微米的塑料袋中。在本研究中,鉴于其位于福建省厦门市不同城市化程度的同一流域,选取了Shidou水库(N 24°42'35",E 118°0'14")和Xinglin湾(N 24°35'44",E 118°5'34")作为研究对象。每个微塑料样本均重复三次,分别浸泡于Shidou水库和Xinglin湾的水中。经过30天后,收集微塑料及其对应的水样,并于2020年11月用于微生物基因组DNA的提取。我们利用338F/806R引物对细菌的16S rRNA基因进行扩增,以表征水体和塑料圈中的细菌群落。
