资源简介:
The national Recreation Participation Survey examines the nature and frequency of participation in recreation and leisure activities and facility usage among Australians 14 years and over, and how these patterns vary among different socio-economic groups. The survey also identifies the major constraints on both participation and facility utilisation. This survey is the sixth in a series of such surveys, the first of which was conducted in April 1985. The series will be used to study longitudinal trends. Topics covered include frequency of participation in various leisure time and social activities during the last week and during the last month, both at the respondent's home and away from home; reasons for participation; activities that the respondent did not do but would have liked to; reasons for not doing these activities; and the use of public and commercial leisure facilities. Background variables include age, sex, income level, education, marital status, ethnicity, employment status, occupation, geographical location, size of household, and age of children in the household.
