Bacillus paramycoides strain:RZ3MS14 Genome sequencing and assembly

Bacillus paramycoides RZ3MS14, isolated from the rhizosphere of guarana in the Brazilian Amazon, showed previously in vitro plant growth-promoting abilities. Here, we report the draft genome of B. paramycoides RZ3MS14 with an estimated genome size of 5.5 Mbp. The bioinformatics analysis unveils several mechanisms contributing to the nutrient dynamics in the rhizosphere and plant growth-promoting multitraits. Furthermore, this genome harbors antagonist potential against phytopathogens and for plant health through VOCs and a wide range of metabolites. Overall, this study brought novel perspectives to the species and its potential as microbial bioinoculants.
