资源简介:

Place-based approaches are a popular way to improve health and wellbeing in areas of poor health and disadvantage. They centre on the idea that solutions must be tailored to the characteristics of each place and community. The PPI framework was developed as part of a doctoral research program using Grounded Theory methodology. It provides a guiding set of best practice principles and critical considerations for community members, researchers, organisations, government, funders, policymakers and people working in place. By using this framework, health interventions are likely to be more effective, equitable and sustainable because the principles support participatory decision-making, community involvement and sustainable change through relational and systemic ways of working.
