A complete bread wheat telomere-to-telomere genome provides insights into the evolution, transcriptome, and proteome of a hexaploid genome Peking University Institute of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, Complete assemblies of huge and complex plant genomes remain a challenge, and the hexaploid wheat genome stands as the most difficult one among staple food crop genomes. Here, we present CS-IAAS, a comprehensive telomere-to-telomere (T2T) gap-free Triticum aestivumL. reference genome, encompassing 14.51 billion base pairs and featuring all 21 centromeres and 42 telomeres. ## The genome sequence of Triticum aestivum cv.
