资源简介:
Sleep is an evolutionarily conserved physiological process implicated in the consolidation of learning and memory. In our study, sleep deprivation-induced cognitive deficits in zebrafish are mediated through reduction in glucose metabolism to the hexosamine biosynthetic pathway. Therefore, we perform the microarray to confirm glucose metabolic pathway- and nerve system-related genes expression using mRNA from brains of control, sleep-deprived and fear-conditioned zebrafish groups. Naïve fish were maintained under a 14:10 light-dark cycle (light off at 22:00, light on at 8:00). For generating the SD model, zebrafish were exposed to extended light (24:0) for 3 days. We performed inhibitory avoidance learning for fear conditioning.
