Differences of rhizosphere soil microorganisms in pure and mixed forests

Here, we selected three types of naturally growing stands on the Loess Plateau, pure stands of Platycladus orientalis, mixed stands of Platycladus orientalis and Pinus tabuliformis, and pure stands of Pinus tabuliformis, to compare the differences in soil properties, microbial diversity and community composition, soil enzymatic activity, and plant growth conditions across these stand types.
