In vivo midazolam intervention in mouse glioblastoma: RNA-seq dataset

We generated an RNA-seq dataset to investigate the transcriptomic effects of midazolam on glioblastoma in vivo. The dataset comprises four experimental groups, each with three biological replicates (n=3): PBS-treated normal mice, PBS-treated tumor-bearing mice, midazolam (MDZ)-treated normal mice, and MDZ-treated tumor-bearing mice. This design enables comprehensive analysis of both tumor-specific transcriptional changes and midazolam-induced alterations in both normal and pathological contexts. The paired comparison between PBS and MDZ groups allows identification of drug-specific effects, while the comparison between normal and tumor-bearing animals reveals glioblastoma-associated transcriptomic signatures. By incorporating both treatment conditions and disease states, this dataset provides a robust foundation for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying midazolam's potential effects on glioblastoma progression.
