Apis cerana cerana is an excellent bee species commonly used in beekeeping production. Because of its narrow temperature adaptation (the development temperature of the lid is 35.5degrees), temperature becomes the key factor of bee colony breeding. As an important link in beekeeping production, early spring propagation and safe wintering are the keys to ensure high yield of bees. However, the average temperature in early spring in Guizhou is only 2-6 degrees, and it is prone to late spring cold, which easily leads to weak bees and susceptibility to diseases, which directly affects the yield of that year. Therefore, studying the low temperature tolerance of Chinese bee and clarifying its molecular mechanism of low temperature response will provide basic data for further research on molecular biology of Chinese bee and theoretical support for breeding of cold-tolerant bee species.
