Large settlements – programmes to strengthen and promote cleanliness and safety

Strengthening of large-scale Berlin settlements: The programme is carried out in 24 selected large settlements The selected areas are outside the funding framework of the Urban Development Programme Social Cohesion (formerly Social City) as well as outside the S-Bahn ring. Cleanliness and security in large settlements: The programme will be implemented in eight selected large-scale settlements. Housing satisfaction is to be increased by increasing cleanliness and promoting the sense of safety. The joint and sustainable use of public and semi-public spaces should be strengthened.
