In situ sea ice geophysical and electromagnetic data from the Newfoundland coast in spring 2017

Purpose: The dataset was collected opportunistically from the Coast Guard ice breaker Amundsen in June 2017 when the ship was diverted from its scientific cruise in Hudson Bay to the northeast coast of Newfoundland. The dataset was opportunistically collected in between coast guard operations for the purpose of describing the anomalous ice cover that was located in the area during spring 2017.
