A data set of colour spectra of birds collected from the Natural History Museum ornithology study collection at Tring. The data covers >300 species distributed across the avian phylogeny.
Consists of four files:
AvianColourGamut_SpecMetadata.csv - contains details of species/specimens measured
ColourGamut_BriefDataCollectionMethods.docx - overview of data collection methods
SpectrasuiteSettings.txt - software settings for spectrasuite
Spectra.zip - data archive of individual spectrasuite format files
