Data Supporting "Projections of Tropical Cyclone-driven Coastal Flooding Risk to Critical Infrastructure in the Bay of Bengal

This repository contains data supporting the manuscript titled "Projections of Tropical Cyclone-driven Coastal Flooding Risk to Critical Infrastructure in the Bay of Bengal". The contents include: BayOfBengal_Tide_results_present_climate.nc: the present climate tidal results as described in the manuscript. This includes the ADCIRC mesh information including connectivity and bathymetry. BayOfBengal_Tide_results_future_climate.nc: the future climate tidal results as described in the manuscript. Tide_Validation_Data.csv: a csv file containing the observed and modelled tides used in validation. Historical_Storm_Tide_and_Surge_Data.csv: a csv file containing the observed and modelled storm tides/surges used in validation cnrm.nc: A netCDF4 file containing: Baseline storm surges at each station for each storm in the "cnrm" climate scenario as described in the manuscript. All perturbed storm surges for the cnrm climate scenario as described in the manuscript. Tidal water levels for max storm surges as described in the manuscript. Mean sea level at all stations as described in the manuscript. Riverine water levels for max storm surges as described in the manuscript. cmcc.nc: A netCDF4 file containing the same data as "cnrm.nc" but for the "cmcc" climate scenario. hadgem.nc: A netCDF4 file containing the same data as "cnrm.nc" but for the "hadgem" climate scenario. ecearth.nc: A netCDF4 file containing the same data as "cnrm.nc" but for the "ecearth" climate scenario. present_climate.nc: A netCDF4 file containing the same data as "cnrm.nc" but for the "present climate" climate scenario.
