We report bulk RNA-sequencing for synchronized adult Sertoli cells in germ cell-sufficient (RFPxAMH-Cre) and germ cell-deficient (NANOS2 KO) mice. We also have single-cell RNA-sequencing data for RFPxAMH-Cre sorted Sertoli cells from unsynchronized adult testes (not included in this series). Overall design: Transcriptional profiling of Sertoli cells in germ cell-sufficient and germ cell-deficient environments. RFPxAMH-Cre cells were synchronized and sorted to obtain Sertoli-enriched populations and were clustered into 5 categories based on the most enriched stages: Group A (Stages XI-XII), Group B (Stages I-III), Group C (Stages IV-VI), Group D (Stages VII-VIII), and Group E (IX-X). NANOS2 KO cells were synchronized and euthanized between 42-50 days post-RA injection to encompass the timing of a full cycle of the seminiferous epithelium.
