Elk Home Range - South Warners - 2018-2023 [ds3171]

Home range contours for Rocky Mountain elk (Cervus canadensis nelsoni) developed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) for the South Warners herd of the Northeastern Elk Management Unit (EMU) in Lassen and Modoc counties, California and Washoe County, Nevada. The population-level home range was developed in Migration Mapper with Brownian bridge movement models using GPS locations from collared elk. High use (50 percent) and full home range use (99 percent) contours are presented.
