FORMS, METHODS AND MEANS OF DEVELOPING VOLITIONAL QUALITIES IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

The article examines issues related to improving the methodology of developing volitional qualities in primary school students. The research is based on the achievements of modern pedagogy and psychology. Volitional qualities are defined as stable psychological characteristics of a person such as determination, initiative, independence, self-control, organizational skills, courage, efficiency, and discipline. The article recommends creating pedagogical conditions for the formation of willpower, enriching methodological content, and linking it with modern social conditions. It also discusses the development of students’ motivation and the formation of strong volitional qualities through overcoming obstacles that arise in everyday learning activities.
