OAFlux2_NATL_2022.nc

This dataset contains daily mean fields of air-sea heat fluxes and associated variables from August 1 to October 31, 2022. These data were used in the study entitled "Dry Air Outbreak and Significant Surface Turbulent Heat Loss During Hurricane Ian: Satellite and Saildrone Observations" by Yu et al. (2023).Please reference the dataset (DOI: 10.6084/m9.figshare.23909532) when utilizing the data.The dataset is an integral part of the recently developed second-generation Objectively Analyzed air-sea Fluxes (OAFlux) analysis (1988-present). The development was facilitated by the NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program.
