Industrial Enterprise Survey，2006

The main survey was conducted in the spring of 2006 on 1,268 firms in 12 cities (from north to south): Changchun, Dandong, Chifeng, Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Xi’an, Zibo, Chongqing, Shiyan, Wujiang, Hangzhou, and Shunde. The questionnaire of the survey was administered on firm management and its aim was to ask the management to report information on the firm’s CSR performance. This survey was supplemented by interviews conducted on government agencies and enterprises in three of the sample cities, Changchun, Chongqing, and Shunde, and an additional city close to Hangzhou, which is Taizhou.
