Vivir el Síndrome de Guillain Barré

El presente archivo recoge los datos de cuatro cuestionarios de elaboración propia difundidos entre el 28 de mayo y el 28 de junio de 2025, tanto de manera online como de manera presencial en centros de salud, hospitales y centros de fisioterapia de la Comunidad de Madrid (España). El primero va dirigido a pacientes, es decir, personas que han padecido o padecen el síndrome de Guillain Barré; el segundo a familiares y amigos de los mismos; el tercero, al personal sanitario (médicos, enfermeros y fisioterapeutas), y el cuarto, a la población general. Por otra parte, el primer cuestionario busca estudiar cómo los pacientes vivieron todo el proceso de la enfermedad, desde el diagnóstico hasta los seguimientos posteriores; el segundo estudia la forma en la que este síndrome les afectó y cómo vivieron ellos el proceso; el tercero analiza el nivel de conocimiento del personal sanitario, y el cuarto, el de la población general. This dataset contains the data collected from four original questionnaries distributed between 28 May and 28 June 2025, both online and in person, across healthcare centers, hospitals, and physiotherapy clinics in the Community of Madrid (Spain). The first questionnaire was designed for patients who have experienced or are currently experiencing the Guillain-Barré syndrome. The second targeted their relatives and close friends; the third was addressed to healthcare professionals (including physicians, nurses and physiotherapists), and the fourth was intended for members of the general population. The patient questionnaire explores participants experiences throughout the entire disease trajectory, from diagnosis to subsequent follow-up care. The questionnaire for relatives and friends examines the impact of the syndrome on their lives and their experiences throughout the process. The healthcare professionals questionnaire assesses the level of knowledge and awarness of the syndrome among medical staff, while the final questionnaire evaluates public awareness and understanding of the condition.
