High-Throughput SECCM and EDX Data for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction on Ag-Pd-Pt-Ru Thin-Film Materials Libraries in Acidic Electrolyte

This dataset contains high-throughput energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) data and scanning electrochemical cell microscopy (SECCM) measurements for Ag-Pd-Pt-Ru thin-film materials libraries investigated for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in acidic electrolyte. The films were synthesized by magnetron deposition on wafer substrates and characterized in 0.1 M HClO4 + 0.1 M LiClO4 with PVP additive. The library IDs 0011155, 0011156, 0011157, and 0011158 refer to separate Ag-Pd-Pt-Ru samples prepared on different wafer substrates. These IDs are retained in the filenames to identify the corresponding sample and measurement set. The EDX files contain the measurement-area ID, the corresponding coordinates on the wafer, and the local Ag, Pd, Pt, and Ru compositions in atomic %. The SECCM dataset contains the corresponding linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) files recorded at the addressed measurement areas. Together, the EDX and SECCM data support composition-activity correlation analysis for acidic HER on multimetallic noble-metal thin films.
