Supporting data for Characterization of meter‐ to hectometer‐scale craters and centimeter-sized rocks in the Chang'e-6 landing site measured from descent imagery

The datasets related to the work of Characterization of meter‐ to hectometer‐scale craters and centimeter-sized rocks in the Chang’e-6 landing site measured from descent imagery.

This webpage contains the digital orthophoto map (DOM) data and the digital terrain model (DTM) data generated and used in this work. The data are in GeoTiff format.

The Chang’e-6 Descam images are provided by China National Space Administration and will be publicly available at the Data Release and Information Service System of China's Lunar Exploration Program after June 2025 (https://moon.bao.ac.cn/ce5web/moonGisMap.search).

The crater data comprises four crater files (in ArcGIS shape file format) for both the Map 1 and Map 2 regions. The diameter range of the crater files ending with "completeness" is greater than the completeness diameter, while those ending with "small" are smaller than the completeness diameter.

Version 2 updated the rocks file (in ArcGIS shape file format).
