Images and measurements of early developmental stages of trilobites from Fezouata Shale

Several specimens were mechanically prepared using a stylus with a pointed needle. The material was photographed using an Olympus SZX12 microscope with an attached Olympus DP72 camera at the National Museum, Prague. The images were subsequently processed in Adobe Lightroom 8.0.0. (to adjust crop, exposure, contrast, details, sharpness, and colour). Linear measurements (maximal cranidial width, maximal palpebral width, maximal cranidial length, maximal pygidial width, maximal pygidial length, and maximal exoskeletal length) were performed on photographs using TpsDIG2 and plotted in PAST 4.02. Two folders of images are provided: Original photograph images files for the different trilobites imaged in figures in the publication (figures_raw); Image files cropped and adjusted for the size in the plates with contrast/brightness adjustments (figures_upgraded). In addition, an excel spreadsheet contains the data of the measurements.
