Survey on Understanding the Challenges of Accessing Water in Karachi, Pakistan

Conducted in 2022 and 2023, the results of the household survey (n=900) describe the challenges of accessing water by residents living in Karachi, Pakistan. Responses provide information on experiences related to price and availability of water, perceptions about the performance of water providers, coping strategies during water shortages, housing and sanitation conditions, and perceptions about the role and influence of state and non-state players related to water provision.
