This dataset provides systematic research data on the generation of ultra-broadband and ultra-flat supercontinuum in graded-index multimode fibers, encompassing both numerical simulations and experimental measurements. The numerical simulations are based on the full-vectorial multimode generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation, detailing the evolutionary dynamics of nonlinear effects such as geometric parametric instability, Raman scattering, and cascaded four-wave mixing under varying fiber lengths (30–100 m). The experimental data were obtained using 1064 nm nanosecond pulse excitation, measuring the spectral evolution, power dependence, and spatial beam distribution at the output of hundred-meter-scale fibers, with a particular focus on the synergistic effects of Raman scattering and geometric parametric instability on spectral flattening and broadening. The dataset includes: output spectral curves for different fiber lengths (especially the 30–50 m spectral homogenization interval) covering 820–2280 nm with a 10 dB bandwidth exceeding 1400 nm, spectral details at an output power of 1.5 W, and near-Gaussian spatial beam distribution data. All data are stored in text format, facilitating subsequent nonlinear dynamics analysis and the design validation of high-power supercontinuum sources.
