Multicriteria evaluation of yield, precocity, and stability in Sweet Potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) across contrasting environments
收藏资源简介:
This deposit provides the curated datasets underlying the analyses of a multi-environment sweet potato field trial conducted in Côte d’Ivoire. It includes (i) a publication-ready table of plot-level agronomic observations and derived traits used in the manuscript, and (ii) an environment metadata table describing the geographic coordinates and elevation of each site and the site × year environments. The agronomic dataset contains genotype performance measured at multiple harvest dates within each environment, including the number of productive plants (NPP), the number of marketable storage roots (NMSR; ≥200 g), fresh weights of marketable and total roots (FWMR, FWTR), and total yield (TY, t ha⁻¹). In addition, it provides the two derived variables used in the article: marketable yield (Y, t ha⁻¹) and the precocity index (PI), computed from FWMR/FWTR and TY as described in the Methods. The metadata table reports site name, year, country, latitude/longitude (decimal degrees), and altitude (m), enabling spatial contextualization and linkage with external climate or soil sources. Together, these files allow full reproduction of the manuscript’s data processing steps (filtering, trait derivation) and support re-use for genotype × environment analyses, stability assessment, and multi-criteria varietal recommendation workflows.
