Comprehensibility of PictoSUS pharmaceutical pictograms: response dataset from a multicultural community sample in New Zealand

This dataset contains the individual responses collected in a cross-sectional online survey assessing the comprehensibilityof 47 pharmaceutical pictograms developed within the IA-Polis project (PictoSUS). Participants were New Zealandresidents aged 18 years or older, recruited through snowball sampling. Each participant was randomly assigned up to 10pictograms. The unit of analysis is a single response to a single pictogram, not a participant, so sociodemographic valuesare repeated across all rows belonging to the same participant.The file pictosus_dataset.csv contains 455 rows and 15 variables, corresponding to 46 participants and 47pictograms. Data are UTF-8 encoded and comma-separated. Empty cells denote missing values.The pictogram images are not included in this deposit. They remain the intellectual property of their authors and are not yetauthorised for clinical use.
