The aim of this study was to predict the Short-Chain Fatty Acid (SCFA) levels in human fecal samples by targetting 16S rRNA gene sequences. The PacBio sequences were used as an input for training a prediction model.The WGS data were used to explore the microbial composition of samples with various Propionate-to-Butyrate ratios. All WGS data were filtered from human reads prior to submission.
