This dataset contains the anonymized raw data supporting the study “Pain sensitivity responses to low-lung-volume static apnoea: safety and feasibility of a six-minute pilot protocol.” The study investigated the effects of intermittent low-lung-volume static apnea on pressure pain thresholds and physiological responses in healthy adults. Eighty participants were randomly allocated to an apnea group or a control group. The dataset includes baseline characteristics, pressure pain threshold measurements (thumb, tibialis anterior, and C7), and intrasession physiological variables including heart rate (%HRmax), oxygen saturation (SpO₂), systolic blood pressure, and diastolic blood pressure. Data were collected before, during, and after a six-minute intervention performed in the supine position. The dataset is provided to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analyses related to physiological responses to breath-hold interventions.
