"This dataset and documentation package present a synthetic executable companion to the paper \u201cExploring Large Document Repositories with RDF Technology: The DOPE Project.\u201d Generated with the DBbun pipeline, the companion translates key ideas from the source paper into an inspectable computational artifact, including thesaurus-based indexing with EMTREE, RDF-based querying across heterogeneous repositories, co-occurring keyword analysis, hierarchy-aware query expansion, and visualization-oriented exploration of large biomedical document collections. The original paper describes a system that integrates major sources such as Medline and ScienceDirect through a semantic layer designed to support richer discovery and navigation.The generated companion includes a simulator, documented parameters, six simulation scenarios, structured CSV outputs, and multiple figures intended to make the paper\u2019s mechanisms more reusable for experimentation, teaching, and demonstration. According to the documentation, the package contains 22 parameters, of which 13 were extracted from the paper and 9 were assumed, and it covers scenarios such as aspirin-query retrieval, query-expansion depth sweeps, multi-keyword overlap complexity, and user-study-inspired feedback summaries.This resource is intended as a reproducibility-oriented, synthetic companion artifact rather than a reconstruction of the original authors\u2019 validated results. The simulator outputs, datasets, and figures are computationally inspired by the source document and are provided to illustrate the phenomena described in the paper, not to reproduce the original experimental data.
