This project summarizes the results of undrained cyclic direct simple shear (DSS) tests performed on specimens of Ottawa F65 sand. Constant-volume (equivalent undrained) uniform and non-uniform cyclic direct simple shear (DSS) experiments were conducted using an Electromechanical Dynamic Cyclic Simple Shear (EMDCSS) device manufactured by GDS Instruments. Data are summarized as stress strain loops, stress paths, vertical stress versus shear strain, and vertical compliance versus shear strain.The data available is the raw data (without any post-processing or filtering) for all the experiments illustrated in the paper dx.doi.org/10.1139/cgj-2021-0373 by Humire and Ziotopoulou (2022) "Mechanisms of shear strain accumulation in laboratory experiments on sands exhibiting cyclic mobility behavior."
