资源简介:
Coastal wetlands, serving as bridges between land and marine ecosystems, are cradles for enormous diversity of microorganisms. However, coastal wetlands are increasingly subjected to landscape changes, such as Spartina alterniflora invasion and aquaculture reclamation, which have profoundly resulted in the degradation of coastal wetlands. These alterations can exert a significant impact on the physiochemical properties of water and sediments, and inevitably influence the distribution and activity of microbes in coastal wetlands. In this project, we investigated the impact of Spartina alterniflora invasion and subsequently aquaculture reclamation on the distributions of microbes (e.g., protists, fungi and comammox Nitrospira) in 21 coastal wetlands across five provinces along the tropical and subtropical China.
