Development of a controlled laboratory model for studying compost bedded pack systems and microbial dynamics

This dataset contains 16S rRNA gene sequencing data derived from a compost bedded pack (CBP) model simulating the active composting layer. The model was developed using pack materials collected from four commercial CBP farms and maintained under standardized laboratory conditions to minimize environmental variability. The data represent microbial community composition and diversity under controlled composting conditions.
