Urine microRNA in Septic Neonates

In this study, we attempted to estimate the expression levels of miRNAs and quantitative analysis of urinary metabolites in small cohorts of newborns diagnosed with early or late sepsis in the Neonatology Clinics of Children’s Clinical University Hospital. Urine was non-invasively obtained from septic neonates and age-matched controls. Urine was collected by placing urine collection bags, samples were centrifuged and placed in a −80°Celsius freezer until processed for urinary exosome enrichment, estimation of differential miRNA expression of 88 miRNAs. miRNA data -R Software v1.6.1.
