Recovery of equine gut microbiota after antibiotic-induced dysbiosis

This BioProject contains longitudinal gut microbiota sequencing data from a controlled study examining recovery dynamics after antibiotic-induced dysbiosis in horses. Clinically healthy adult horses received a standardized course of systemic antibiotics, followed by spontaneous recovery, autologous fecal microbiota transplantation, or probiotic administration. Fecal samples were collected before, during, and after antibiotic treatment. Microbial community composition was analyzed using long-amplicon sequencing.
